U24 World Champions

AMP’s eight U24 players – Natalie, Calvin, Matt, Nico, Linda, Carolyn, Anna and Michael – contributed unbelievable talent, drive, creativity and personality to our 2017 team. Six were invited to tryout for the U24 National Team, and three selected for rosters.

Michael co-led the mixed team in goals, while Anna’s bids and throws created scores throughout the tournament. Carolyn’s fearlessness and support for her teammates leads every team she’s a member of.

Argentina, 2017

AMP’s first trip to the Pan American Club Championships included wins over teams from Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Canada and the United States en route to a silver medal; we fell by one point in the final to San Francisco Mischief.

Fly High and Keep Climbing!

In 2017, AMP took 3rd at the Pro Elite Challenge in Colorado and the US Open Club Championships in Minnesota. In the fall, we won the Mid-Atlantic Region and placed second at Club Nationals – our best ever finish.

The team’s mission is to grow our community, improve, and create together – earn respect for and represent Philadelphia. The support of those in Florida for Nationals was amazing, especially Philadelphia Patrol. Our alumni and everyone who was in touch before and after our biggest games made the community feel so present and unique. We’re most proud that we got to share the season’s experiences with the family, friends and fans who supported our work throughout the year.

AMP 2017 relied on and received plays from every teammate, and strengthened each day we were together. We’re eager to continuing pursuing new opportunities at the 2018 World Club Championships and beyond.
