Chesapeake and Sectionals

AMP worked hard to break through at Chesapeake, but lost 2 universe point games in Maryland. The team refocused for Sectionals, showed off our new uniforms, and played an outstanding team tournament for 6 wins in New Jersey. Looking forward to the hard work ahead for Regionals!

Philly Invite

3-4 weekend performance at our home tournament provided good insight into where we need to focus most at practice.  The tournament ran well thanks to the terrific volunteer efforts of several vets. Looking forward to a few more practices and then Chesapeake and Sectionals as AMP 2010 starts to take its final shape.

Worlds in Prague

After qualifying as the 5th place team at 2009 UPA Club Nationals, AMP traveled with a 17-person roster to Prague for the 2010 World Club Championships. Season Debut at Boston Invite

AMP traveled to Fort Devens, MA on June 26-27 for our first tournament with this year’s team. Building consistency throughout the weekend we finished 4th overall after 4 wins and 3 losses. Tryouts Progressing

AMP’s seen over 50 people come out for the 2010 team. A few more are expected, but we’re beginning to concentrate on developing this year’s group now. Looking forward to June practices, parties and two great early season tests at Boston and Philly Invite.

AMP 2010

AMP’s first practice for 2010 will fall on Saturday, May 8th. That day will follow our usual habit of practicing Saturday morning from 9am to 1pm in Philadelphia’s Fairmount Park.
